Mr. Viren Mathia (Head Audit & Assurance) (CEO),

ACADEMIC : A qualified chartered accountant (2002) with more than 10 years of post qualification experience, completed graduation of commerce from Narsee Monjee College, Mumbai and bachelor in general law from Mumbai University.

He acquired qualification as information systems audit and enterprise risk management from the ICAI. He is also a certified internal auditor from The Institute of Internal Auditors, London.

WORK EXPERIENCE : He was partner with Mr. Rajesh S. Shah ex president of Bombay Chartered Accounts Society wherein he was responsible for the statutory audits and compliances. (M/s. R.R.Shah and associates is a practicing chartered accountant firm for more than 30 years).

Later he was associated with Mr. Aditya Kanade at TATA-AIG Life Insurance Co. Ltd., wherein he acquired expertise on risk based auditing and performed executions for AIG group companies like Life Insurance, General Insurance, System Solutions, Housing Finance, Consumer Finance, Mutual Fund and Liaison Office.

Lastly, he was associated with Mr. O.N.Singh ex chairman of Bank of India and Allahabad Bank, at Universal Sompo General Insurance Co. Ltd., wherein he headed the internal audit function for its PAN India operations. He was also the chief risk officer of the company and reported to the Audit and Risk committee’s of the Board.

ACADEMIC : A qualified chartered accountant (2005) with more than 8 years of post qualification experience, completed graduation of commerce from Mithibai College.

WORK EXPERIENCE : She established the firm Mathia & Co. in 2005 and has been practicing in vast areas of regulatory compliances to provide a one stop shop for the clients and fellow chartered accountants.

The firm has been providing solutions in line of Income Tax, Value Added Tax, Company Law, Service Tax, Payroll processing, TDS processing, Internal Audit, Project Finance reports, etc.
The firm has developed indigenous web solutions to provide systemic solution for TDS processing, Salary Processing, Risk Management, Audit Follow-up and Support Desk to built future capacities for the Corporate client.
